A PUMA Call to DNC Delegates

2008 July 9
by heroesforhillary

In the past few weeks, OBAMA has changed positions on the following: IRAQ, FISA, NAFTA, CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM, THE DEATH PENALTY, GUN CONTROL. Is he really the best candidate for the Democratic Party in 2008?

Will Bower -in cooperation with other coalition PUMAs - posted an important call to Delegates that could save the Dems from losing the White House in 2008. It’s very simple really. All it would take is 175 Democratic delegates to switch their support to Hillary.

Here is an excerpt from the the post:

The fate of the United States — and the future of the Democratic Party – now rests with a minimum of 175 Democratic delegates who must now exercise their mature political judgment in the service of their country, and turn away from Obama to support Senator Clinton.

As of now, Obama has about 2229.5 delegate votes, with 1766.5 pledged delegates and 463 super delegates.

Clinton has 1896.5 delegate votes, with 1639.5 pledged and 257 super delegates.

Shift just 175 delegates from Obama to Clinton, and Obama’s power grab comes to a halt.

There must be no nomination of Obama on the first ballot. Once Obama has failed to secure the nomination on the first ballot, the party will be able to reflect on who the nominee ought to be, based on the experiences of June, July, and August.

Senator Clinton is pledged to an orderly, sane, and secure pullout. Clinton wants mandatory universal health care and a freeze on foreclosures.  She wants to shift the federal gasoline tax away from motorists, truckers, and farmers and towards the Oil Industry.
Obama is on the wrong side of all of these issues.

Hillary Clinton is and has always been on the side of traditional Democratic Party values.

We want a president from the Democratic Party, not from a small group of elite, libertarian Neo-Liberals. Lexington and Concord were started by a few dozen farmers.

Does the Democratic Party still have 175 patriots with the courage to take a stand?

That cartoon really captures the before and after Obama.

Obama as a president elect could be even more unlike the Obama primary version. He’s the ultimate fabricated politician.

It’s all about hatred and racist jabs against Obama. What is the difference between Hillary and OBama on the issues. If it is not jealousy, racism, then what is it? African-Americans have always voted for white candidates, why are whites finding it difficult to vote for Obama. We are in the 21st century. GOD will see Obama through

The reason Clinton supporters will not vote for Obama is because they are embarrassed of him, his life, his unfair tactics and his beliefs. And they still don’t know all about him.

    1. They don’t want a candidate that has been in a twenty year relationship with Reverend Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ.

    2. They don’t’ want a candidate that has a twenty year relationship with Father Pflaeger as his compass in life

    3. They don’t want a candidate that went to a church that supports Louis Farrakhan, an anti Semitic racist.

    4. They don’t want to defend Black Liberation theology.

    5. They don’t want a candidate that lies about his relationship with Tony Rezko, the Syrian Criminal that sold his property to Obama and supported his campaign.

    6. They don’t want a candidate that could work with a domestic terrorist, William Ayers.

    7. They don’t want a candidate that Hamas supports.

    8. They don’t want a candidate that Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam support

    9. They don’t want a candidate that has a wife that has just now realized she was proud of our country.

    10. They don’t want a candidate that denies Florida and Michigan their voices

    11. They don’t want a candidate that mentions 57 states in his speeches. 50 states in the USA and 57 states in the Nation of Islam (IOC website)

    12. They don’t want a candidate that fights unfair and steals Michigan delegate votes from his opponent.

    13. They don’t want a candidate that is inexperienced.

    14. They don’t want a candidate that considers it a loss to not to be able to attend his anti American, racist Church.

    15. They don’t want a candidate that has a “non practicing” Muslim father, but avoids the entire discussion of his father.

    16. They don’t’ want a candidate that won’t debate

    17. They don’t’ want a candidate that misleads the youth with an ‘Obama girl and her behind in their face”

    18. They don’t want a candidate that says he’s an African American and missed the MLK Remembrance Day and the Louisiana Black Caucus meeting

    19. They don’t want a candidate that enjoys laughing at sexism

    20. They don’t want a candidate that switches his position on gun control, FISA, the war in Iraq, religion and government….

    21. They don’t want a candidate that showcases his daughters on TV shows.

    22. They don’t’ want a candidate that has poor judgment.

    23. They don’t’ want a candidate named; Barack Hussein Obama
