5 weeks Until Superdelegates Must Choose

21 Jul

Super-Delegates have 5 weeks before they need to choose a nominee at the Denver convention. I hope they are reading, researching, and deciding for themselves who is best qualified for the job ahead.

Consider this point made by Charles Krauthammer in his article The Audacity of Vanity: “Obama is a three-year senator without a single important legislative achievement to his name, a former Illinois state senator who voted “present” nearly 130 times. As president of the Harvard Law Review, as law professor and as legislator, has he ever produced a single notable piece of scholarship? Written a single memorable article? His most memorable work is a biography of his favorite subject: himself.”

As the presumed nominee, Obama has changed direction on: FISA, IRAQ, Campaign Financing, NAFTA, Gun Control…what does he believe in? Can super-delegates still believe in him?

Does Obama really seem like the best candidate the Party can nominate this year? Just say no deal.

Vote conscience over party at the Denver convention.
