Foreign Travel Does Not Mean a Good President

6 Aug

Since Obama returned from his trip abroad:

  • McCain has expanded his leads on nearly every issue he had previously had the advantage on, while Obama’s leads have diminished over the past two weeks
  • John McCain is now trusted more than Barack Obama on nine out of 14 electoral issues tracked by Rasmussen Reports
  • McCain ran a successful ad “Celebrity” mocking Obama’s trip
  • A new Pew Research Center poll indicates 48% of voters are tired of hearing about Obama

As it turns out- multiple international trips are not a sign one will make a good president. Just look at current Pres. Bush who is “officially our most travelled president in history” as evidence.
