McCain and Obama Are Both Terrible

21 Aug

Yet again, McCain and Obama demonstrate why both of them are not good enough for the job and why we need an alternative (Hillary of course) to both these two idiots.

McCain has stupidly fallen into the same elitist hole he dug for Obama. A reporter asked McCain a simple question: “how many homes do you own?” McCain couldn’t answer because he didn’t know.

Obama, still feeling his failure from the Saddleback debacle this past weekend, jumped on this opportunity to attack McCain and divert attention away from his poor performance.

In what must be a record turn-around-time, the Obama camp has rolled out a new ad exploiting McCain’s blunder. Here’s the ad:

Today, in a Chester, Virginia town hall with Gov. Kaine, Obama continues to hammer McCain on this:

Think about that. I guess if you think that being rich means you’ve got to make $5 million, and if you don’t know how many houses you have, then it’s not surprising that you might think the economy is fundamentally strong!

But if you’re like me, and you’ve got one house… you might have a different perspective.

John McCain responds:

Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses? Does a guy who worries about the price of arugula and thinks regular people ‘cling’ to guns and religion in the face of economic hardship really want to have a debate about who’s in touch with regular Americans?

They’re battling each other on who is more elitist, who has more money, who is less in touch with the average American. As an average American, I’m so frustrated it has come down to these two fools. It’s an impossible choice between Dumb and Dumber. Neither candidate is acceptable.

I can not vote Obama. He’s too inexperienced and I don’t trust his judgement. I thought McCain was the lesser of two evils (which made him a better choice) when I thought he would be a one term president with a democrat congress to hold him in check. Now, McCain blows that, because he won’t commit to a one term presidency. Is this man crazy? He might just be.

Politico  reports:

John McCain stated unequivocally in an interview with Politico on Wednesday that he would not pledge to serve only a single four-year term, rejecting a suggestion that some allies believe would allay questions about his age and underscore his nonpartisan message of putting country first.

“No,” McCain said flatly, “I’m not considering it.”

We can’t have either one of these guys for president. They are just not acceptable. We need Hillary- a real qualified and serious candidate for President.
