4 Years Later Kerry Still Can’t Tell A Joke

20 Oct

I don’t know which is more sickening coming from John Kerry- the idea of him going ‘commando’ or how quick he was to ridicule his former friend (John McCain) by ‘joking’ that McCain wears adult diapers.

Wow, Kerry has sunk pretty darn low. He has no integrity. 4 years ago, Kerry was pleading with John McCain to be his VP running mate. Fast forward 4 years and Kerry’s political aspirations for a Cabinet level post in an Obama administration mean more to him than his respect and friendship with McCain. Obviously Kerry didn’t realize that joking is not something he does well. You would have thought he’d learned that from his disastrous attempt 4 years ago, but alas, he keeps trying to tell these bad jokes.

At a business summit on energy, Politickerma.com reports, a prominent supporter of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Mass., made a crack about Sen. John McCain’s age.

“These are the exciting last two week moments of the presidential campaign,” said Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., today in Cambridge, Mass. “So it’s a very special time. I can’t wait for it to be over. I am so tired of the press’ silly questions that they ask along the way. And cable television which reduces everything to stupidity – the lowest common denominator of conflict.”

“I don’t know if any of you know what it’s like. I do, obviously,” Kerry told the crowd. “I’ve been asked all of those brilliant questions that were repeated this year…Barack got asked the famous boxers or briefs question. I was tempted to say commando…

“Then they asked McCain and McCain said, ‘Depends,'” Kerry said.

Huh? I don’t get what you are so upset about. Oh, but wait, yes I do. You wouldn’t like Senator Kerry even if he parted the seas. So, any excuse to knock him is good enough for you. Even if it is just a tame joke that McCain has even told himself.
You really need to get over this idea that Kerry had something to do with Clinton not winning the primary when the fact is, more people wanted the change Obama spoke of and not the change Clinton brought to the table.

    MAWC,

To answer your question, as a MA resident, I’m upset that Kerry is more interested in taking a cabinet position with an Obama administration than doing the job I and many other MA residents sent him to Washington to do.

The Junior Senator from MA cares more about his political ambitions, than doing his job. He has stopped listening to his constituents and we’re pretty darn upset about it.

Kerry faced his first EVER democrat challenger this year. We’re disappointed and angry about Kerry’s job performance, his lack of leadership in Washington. That challenger gained a foothold because so many residents are fed up with Kerry.

It’s not about Hillary. Hillary is just another example of a time when Kerry ignored the overwhelming will of the people in MA (Hillary clobbered Obama in the MA primary).

Kerry lost his mojo when he lost to Bush 4 years ago. With Senator Kennedy’s illness, Kerry will have more responsibility on his plate. He needs to get his head back in the game or move aside and let someone else -who wants to be there for the voters of MA- do it.
